Movie Review-Alice In Wonderland

The latest Flick by Walt Disney is the Alice In Wonderland. Checkout for its trailer:

The film is directed by Tim Burton and is the sequel of the original classic and is in the 3-D format. The film starts where the previous film was ended, where Alice(Mia Wasikowska) is now 20 years old. Alice is being pressurized for an arranged marriage which is loveless and she isn't interested.

In a series of events Alice again spots the white rabbit again in the bushes and runs after her and falls down into the rabbit hole which leads her to the Underland whose inhabitants asks her to call it a Wonderland. Though Alice had previously visited the place in her childhood she had only faint memories of the place.

Very soon Alice meets her all the old friends like- Mad Hatter(Johny Depp), the March Hare, Tweedledee and Tweedledum (Matt Lucas), the Cheshire Cat(voiced by Stephen Fry), the hookah-smoking Caterpillar(voiced by Alan  Rickman. After sometime Alice came to know that Wonderland is not so wonderful now because it is being ruled by the cruel Queen- The Red Queen (Helena Bonham Carter).

The Hatter and the friends believe that Alice if she really is the only person who can save everyone by making the White Queen (Anne Hathaway) as the ruler.

That's the whole story in short, as far as the technical part is concerned making the film in 3-D format has not created any good effect. Johnny Depp and Bonham Carter are impressive.

Alice In Wonderland is a pretty OK film can be watched by kids and as well as adults and can be enjoyed.
